Single Ticket Sneak Peek Sale on Friday, August 24, 2012

HALF-PRICED RICHMOND SYMPHONY TICKETS ONE DAY ONLY!

The Richmond Symphony will hold a Single Ticket Sneak Peek Sale on Friday, August 24, 2012.  Half-priced tickets for Altria Masterworks concerts in limited sections of the Carpenter Theatre and regularly-priced tickets for Handel’s Messiah will go on sale at the Richmond CenterStage Box Office from 9am-1pm and online at www.richmondsymphony.com until midnight.  Limit of four (4) tickets total per person. 

Ticket buyers can also take advantage of the Richmond Symphony’s latest children’s initiative, offering free Altria Masterworks tickets to children 18 and under with the purchase of an adult ticket.  This is available at Richmond CenterStage Box Office only. 

This event is intended to encourage patrons interested in experiencing the Richmond Symphony, for the first time, to purchase single tickets at this special rate prior to single tickets officially going on sale on Monday, August 27, 2012.

Highlights of the 2012-2013 Altria Masterworks season include performances of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1; Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, “Titan”; Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade; Mozart’s Requiem; Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5; and Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring.  A complete listing of all programming for the Altria Masterworks series concerts is available at www.richmondsymphony.com.
