Many may not realize that ticket sales and other earned revenues cover just 30% of the costs of sustaining the orchestra and education programs. Generous support makes possible the artistic excellence many have come to expect.

The Richmond Symphony provides musical education to more than 35,000 children each year, helping to enhance students' sense of self esteem as well as social and academic skills.
