To Participate:  Download registration form and return to Richmond Symphony by Friday, October 26.  Music and check-in details will be sent to registered participants in early November. 

The Richmond Symphony's largest community event! Musicians of all ages and levels of ability are invited to bring their instruments and play alongside the musicians of the Richmond Symphony under the baton of Associate Conductor Erin R. Freeman. This event is presented in support of music education in schools through the Symphony @ School program. The event will be held at the Verizon Wireless Arena at the Stuart C. Siegel Center at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Please be advised: 

  • RSO is not responsible for the care of participants; elementary-aged students must have an adult present at ALL times.
  • Euphonium/baritone players must be able to read tenor and/or bass clef.
  • Percussionists should be able to provide their own instruments and mallets (limited space available). 
  • We are unable to accommodate pianists, saxophonists, guitarists and recorders due to orchestra constraints. 
  • Parts are available for musicians of all levels
  • Parts will be tailored to fit the experience level of participants. 
  • Harp players are welcome!

  • Bernstein - Mambo from West Side Story
