Imagine the full sound of the Beatles with a live symphony orchestra! Experience “Beatlemania” with the Richmond Symphony and the Classical Mystery Tour - Music of the Beatles 50th Anniversary Tour on Saturday, September 28 at 8pm at the Carpenter Theatre at Richmond CenterStage!

Erin R. Freeman conducts this much anticipated Genworth Symphony Pops concert – the Richmond Symphony’s second concert in its new 2013-2014 season.

The four musicians in Classical Mystery Tour look and sound just like The Beatles, but Classical Mystery Tour is more than just a rock concert.  The show presents more than two dozen Beatles tunes performed exactly as they were originally recorded.  Hear "Penny Lane" with a live trumpet section, experience the beauty of "Yesterday" with an acoustic guitar and string quartet, and enjoy the classical/rock blend on "I Am the Walrus."

From early Beatles music on through the solo years, Classical Mystery Tour is the best of The Beatles like you've never heard them before. You might say it’s the best show the Beatles never did! Joined by the celebrated Richmond Symphony Orchestra, this concert event is truly a highlight of the 2013-2014 symphony season!

Tickets start at only $10 online at richmondsymphony.com or 1.800.514 ETIX.

BEHIND THE MUSIC: Imagine The Beatles playing in concert with a symphony orchestra. Hear “Penny Lane” with a live trumpet section; experience the beauty of “Yesterday” with an acoustic guitar and string quartet; enjoy the rock/classical blend on the hard edged “I Am the Walrus.”
