Discounts
All subscribers receive a 10% discount off the single ticket price. Subscribers also receive a 25% discount card that entitles you to purchase additional tickets. (Some restrictions apply)
Special Events Notification
Subscribers will hear about Special Events and have the opportunity to purchase tickets to those events before they go on sale to the public.
Ticket Exchange Policy
Subscribers may exchange tickets to any performance prior to the original concert date. This includes exchanging tickets to another concert venue, date or series. Exchanges are not accepted for Special Event concerts including Messiah and Richard Smallwood. Although the symphony performs with the Richmond Ballet and Virginia Opera, we cannot exchange tickets into or out of those performances. Please note that this is a subscriber benefit for subscription seats only. Single ticket purchasers will not be permitted to exchange their tickets
Subscribers must exchange their tickets at the Richmond Symphony Box Office in person or through the mail. Tickets cannot be exchanged by phone or after the original concert date.
In order to receive the best available seating, you must exchange your tickets at least one business day in advance of the originally scheduled performance date. The box office will not be held responsible for tickets mailed the week of a concert because we cannot guarantee we will receive them in time for an exchange. If tickets need to be exchanged the week of a performance, please bring the tickets to the box office during normal business hours in order to avoid the charges explained below.
Please note: All exchanges must be handled by the Richmond Symphony Box Office during regular operating hours and are subject to availability. Any exchanges made at the venue box office will be subject to a $5 per ticket service fee. No exchanges at the door for Pops concerts.
Missed Performances
If you miss a performance, you may request a tax credit by returning unused tickets. Simply bring in your original tickets or mail them to the Richmond Symphony Box Office.
Lost Tickets
If your tickets are lost or stolen, we will happily replace them at no charge. Call the Richmond Symphony Box Office to arrange for replacement tickets prior to the concert or, if you discover that your tickets are lost or stolen the day of the performance, a replacement slip will be given at the Will Call window. After replacement tickets or slips have been issued, only replacement tickets or slips will be honored.
