Symphony Pops Concert “The Genius of John Williams”

January 13, 2017 – Richmond, Virginia
The Richmond Symphony will present “The Genius of John Williams” to a sold-out crowd on Saturday, January 21 at 8pm. Filled with fantasy and fun, the concert features the music of the world’s best loved movie composer with soundtrack favorites including the Suite from Star Wars, the magical score of Harry Potter, the adventurous sounds of Indiana Jones and many more. The Symphony Pops concert will be led by Associate Conductor, Chia-Hsuan Lin and held at the Carpenter Theatre, Dominion Arts Center.

Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early for a pre-concert performance by the Richmond Concert Band from 7:00 – 7:30pm. They will kick off the concert with popular movie music including Sister ActShrek1492: Conquest of Paradise and The Bridge on the River Kwai.
