DESCRIPTION:Beethoven is at the heart of this concert\, with the majestic Piano Concerto No. 1 and the sunny and cheerful Symphony No. 4 that in its brightness recalls the symphonies of Haydn\, with whom Beethoven had studied a decade before. Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Martinez\, First Prize winner of the Anton Rubinstein International Piano Competition\, will make her debut with the Richmond Symphony in this masterwork. \nJoin us for a safe\, socially-distanced in-person concert.
