SUMMARY:TRIO
DESCRIPTION:GLORIA (SPAIGHT/ VIVALDI)\nA beautiful dance interpretation of Vivaldi’s Gloria\, last seen in Richmond in 1992. Spaight’s sensitive choreography invokes the passion\, joy\, and spirituality of this glorious music through a series of intricate ensembles\, intimate duets\, and exquisite solos. \nJOURNEY (AIELLO/ ARNOLD)\nJourney pays tribute to the strength\, vitality\, and physical virtuosity of the male dancer. Choreographed in 1979\, Aiello’s ballet abstractly suggests travel by land\, sea\, and sky. \nSILENCE (PATTERSON/ PÄRT)\nSilence\, inspired by the music by Arvo Pärt\, evokes a sense of space and timelessness. “…it is about finding peace within the stillness\, the silence when we find ourselves alone in a quiet moment\, in the dark of night\, or on a walk with miles in front of us to conquer.” (Gina Patterson) \n\n\n

SUMMARY:Mozart: Mass in C Minor
DESCRIPTION:Mozart: Mass in C Minor is not to be missed! The Richmond Symphony Chorus will perform with the Richmond Symphony with special guests Laura Strickling (soprano)\, Arianna Zukerman (soprano)\, Nathan Bick (tenor)\, and Robert Harrelson (bass). Join us an hour before each concert for a free pre-concert talk with the Richmond Symphony Music Director\, Steven Smith.
