DESCRIPTION:Join the Richmond Symphony and the Virginia Museum of History & Culture for a special evening of history and music\, featuring selections commemorating the international and Indigenous communities that supported the colonies in their journey to forge a new American nation. \nHistory Notes will begin with a brief history talk discussing rare items from the VMHC collection followed by inspired musical selections highlighting works created by Dutch\, Spanish\, French\, and Indigenous composers\, and played by a chamber ensemble of some of Richmond’s most talented musicians. \nA reception will follow the musical performance. \n  \nTickets must be purchased through the VMHC’s website. Richmond Symphony discounts\, ticket vouchers\, or exchanges do not apply to this performance.
