Hi, I’m David Fisk, the Executive Director of the Richmond Symphony. Usually I talk to our audiences from the stage of the Carpenter Theatre. But these are strange times and this is a very different location because we are all at home these days. Our musicians aren’t able to gather to rehearse or perform and all of our concerts have been cancelled through June. We’ve lost a lot of revenue in this time and our board, nevertheless, has pledged to support our musicians and staff. Here’s how you can help:
- Donate the value of your tickets that are otherwise going to go unused this season.
- Go to RichmondSymphony.com and make a contribution to our annual fund.
- Buy subscriptions now for next year because that will help our cash flow too.
Through all of this–be safe, be well… and we look forward very much to playing for you again as soon as we may.
