DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendar for the SECOND ANNUAL Mile of Music! \nOver the course of two hours\, Mile of Music will have several performing groups from the Richmond Symphony set-up along an approximate 1-mile route within the beautiful Forest Hill Park. At this free event\, you can take your time to enjoy some music and movement from 2-4pm! \n2:00pm: RVA Quintet \n2:30pm: String Quintet \n3:00pm: Brass Quintet \n4:00pm: Principal Woodwind Quintet \n  \nRain Date:  June 5\, 2022 from 2-4pm. \nThis concert is proudly supported in part by the City of Richmond \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nAlso supported by \n \n

DESCRIPTION:Over the course of two hours\, Mile of Music will have several performing groups set-up along an approximate 1-mile route within Forest Hill Park – you can take your time to enjoy some music and movement from 2-4pm! \nThis event is FREE and open to the public! \nChorus: 2-2:30pm\nBrass Quintet: 2:30-3pm\nChorus 3-3:30pm\nString Quartet: 3-3:30pm\nWoodwind Quintet: 3:30-4pm\nWhile we are encouraged by the progress being made in the state of Virginia\, the Richmond Symphony has decided to take a different direction with the South of the James Community Festival this year\, primarily due to COVID and still needing to maintain social distancing protocols\, etc. With that in mind\, we are moving forward with this alternative approach. \n \n  \nNote: We are not accepting vendor applications for this event.
