The evening’s concert is conducted by Chia-Hsuan Lin, who will lead the Richmond Symphony and Jeans ‘n Classics musicians in a thrilling throw-back to the reign of disco music. For almost 20 years, Jeans ‘n Classics has teamed up with symphonies across North America to combine top-of-the-line rock musicians with classical orchestral counterparts. The group has made it their mission to attract new and diverse audience members to symphony concerts through the unique pairing of orchestral musicians and rock flavor. Accompanied by live background vocals and instrumentation, lead vocalist Gavin Hope will perform the music of legends Michael Jackson, Barry White, the Bee Gees and more.
