2026–2027 Discovery Concert

Designed specifically for school groups, these engaging, age-appropriate performances align with the Virginia Standards of Learning. After registering, teachers will receive a digital resource guide approximately one month before the performance, filled with materials and activities to help prepare students for their musical experience!

Journey through Richmond’s story in a vibrant musical program featuring its Indigenous roots, the James River, key moments in American history, Jackson Ward, and inspiring leaders like Maggie Walker and Arthur Ashe. This special program is presented in partnership with The Valentine Museum to honor of the 250^th anniversary of America’s founding.
