Bring your students to experience the Richmond Symphony live.

Created especially for school groups, our Hopkins-Eggleston Discovery Concerts introduce young audiences to orchestral music through engaging, age-appropriate performances connected to the Virginia Standards of Learning.

After registering, teachers will receive a digital resource guide approximately one month before the performance. The guide includes classroom materials and activities to help students prepare for their concert experience.

Remarkable Richmond

Suggested for Grades 3–8
Tickets are $7 per student or $5 for students attending with a Title I school.

Peter and the Wolf
February 24 & 25, 2027. 10:30 AM

Suggested for Pre-K–Grade 3
Introduce young listeners to the orchestra’s instruments through Prokofiev’s beloved musical story, Peter and the Wolf.
Tickets are $7 per student or $5 for students attending with a Title I school.

Planning Your Visit

Each concert begins at 10:30 AM and is designed specifically for student audiences. Registration is available for groups of all sizes. Select your preferred performance date and the appropriate group-size option on the concert registration page.
