Fall in love with band all over again through Symphonic works you know from those good old glory days. “Band Geek Date Night” brings the spirit of the marching field to the concert hall in a joyful, high-energy mashup of symphonic sound and collegiate pride. With the Richmond Symphony and the JMU Marching Royal Dukes on stage, it’s the perfect night out for former band geeks, first-chair flutists, and anyone who fell in love over fight songs and Friday night lights. Kick off the evening with the electrifying sounds of the James Madison University Marching Royal Dukes as they take over 6th Street from 6:00–6:30 PM.
