The musical legacy of the Grateful Dead is celebrated in Richmond with an all-star lineup, including the Jerry Garcia Band’s Melvin Seals on organ and vocalist Jacklyn LaBranch; guitarist Tom Hamilton (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead); Phil Lesh’s son Grahame Lesh on bass; drummer John Morgan Kimock (Mike Gordon); and vocalist Kanika Moore (Doom Flamingo). Commemorating 60 years of Grateful Dead music and Jerry Garcia’s enduring influence, the Richmond Symphony adds symphonic might to timeless tracks like “Terrapin Station,” “Dark Star,” and “Ripple.”
