Join the Richmond Symphony for a weekend of music and celebration as part of Richmond SailFest, the city’s kickoff to America’s 250th anniversary commemorations.

On Saturday, June 13 from 6:30–8:00pm, the Richmond Symphony performs live at Dock Street Park along the James River. This free outdoor concert will feature patriotic favorites, American classics, and audience-friendly orchestral music as part of an unforgettable evening of entertainment leading into SailFest’s spectacular fireworks display over the river.

Then on Sunday, June 14, experience a special SailFest edition of the Richmond Symphony’s annual Mile of Music. Musicians from across the orchestra will perform in a series of free pop-up performances throughout the festival grounds, filling Richmond’s riverfront with live music, surprise performances, and interactive musical moments for all ages.
