Richmond Symphony respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Holiday Sleigh Bells mobile application uses information and device features.

Information We Collect

Holiday Sleigh Bells does not collect personal data or transmit user or device data to Richmond Symphony.

The app does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, payment information or location. It does not contain advertising, analytics or tracking technology and does not use advertising identifiers or other persistent identifiers.

Device Motion

Holiday Sleigh Bells uses your device’s motion sensors to detect when you shake or move your phone and to produce sleigh-bell sounds.

Motion information is processed on your device in real time. Richmond Symphony does not receive, store, associate with you or transmit this information.

Camera and Photographs

Holiday Sleigh Bells includes an optional feature that allows you to take a festive photograph using your device’s camera.

If you use this feature:

• Your device will ask for permission before the app accesses the camera.
• The camera preview and photograph are processed on your device.
• Richmond Symphony does not receive, store or have access to your photograph.
• Your photograph leaves your device only if you choose to save or share it using your device’s controls.
• Any service you choose to use when sharing a photograph is governed by that service’s privacy policy.

You can use the app’s primary sleigh-bell instrument without using the camera feature.

You may withdraw camera permission at any time through your device’s privacy settings. Disabling camera access will prevent the photo feature from working but will not affect the sleigh-bell instrument.

Advertising Analytics and Tracking

Holiday Sleigh Bells does not contain advertising or third-party analytics. It does not use advertising networks, measurement partners or tracking technology.

The app does not track your activity across applications, websites or services owned by other companies.

Apple, Google and App Store Information

Apple, Google or any other digital service provider hosting the Holiday Sleigh Bells application may collect information when you download or use the app according to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Depending on your device and privacy settings, Apple, Google or any other applicable authorized 3rd party digital service provider may make aggregated or de-identified performance and diagnostic information available to Richmond Symphony. This information is provided by the applicable platform and may be used to understand app performance and address technical problems.

Holiday Sleigh Bells does not independently transmit analytics or diagnostic information to Richmond Symphony.

Information Sharing

Richmond Symphony does not sell, rent or share personal data collected through Holiday Sleigh Bells because the app does not collect personal data.

The app does not transmit user or device data to advertising networks, analytics providers, data brokers or other third parties.

Data Retention and Deletion

Richmond Symphony does not receive or retain personal data through Holiday Sleigh Bells and therefore has no app user data to delete.

Any app preferences or other information stored locally by the app remain on your device. You can remove the app and its locally stored information by deleting the app.

Photographs saved to your device’s photo library may remain after the app is deleted. You can remove those photographs using your device’s Photos application.

Data Security

Holiday Sleigh Bells processes device motion and optional camera content locally on your device. The app does not maintain a Richmond Symphony database of app users or transmit personal data to Richmond Symphony.

Information stored locally is protected by your device’s operating system and the security settings you have enabled on your device.

Children’s Privacy

Holiday Sleigh Bells is intended for a general audience, including families attending Richmond Symphony concerts.

The app does not require an account or knowingly collect personal data from children or other users.

Changes to This Policy

Richmond Symphony may update this Privacy Policy if the app’s features or privacy practices change. The date at the top of this page will indicate when the policy was most recently revised.

If a future version of Holiday Sleigh Bells introduces a feature that changes how information is collected, used or shared, this policy and the app’s privacy disclosures will be updated before or when that feature becomes available.
